Steps to reset ATT router:
Find the reset button on your router.
Press and hold that button for a few seconds.
It will take up to few minutes to boot your router and the small LED lights
Should now hopefully be stable which may have been flickering earlier.
Now check any your device with internet connection to make sure it’s working.
After the router is reset, one of the important steps is to reset AT&T router password. It will secure the network adding the extra layer of security.
Steps to reset ATT router password:
Open a web browser and type the default IP address of the router.
This will direct you to the log in page. Enter through the default credentials.
Navigate to settings and click on Wi-Fi network.
Click on password option.
Create and type the new password.
Enter the new password again to confirm.
You should also modify other AT&T router settings. Follow the same steps as mentioned above. You are required to enter the default IP address, 192.168.0.1 in the URL section of a web browser. Press enter and you will be directed to the login page. Then, enter the default credentials. Enter admin as the username and password. Click enter and then navigate to settings. Then, edit the settings accordingly like changing the username and password and setting the range of the Wi-Fi network.
